Eric Alexander

Eric Alexander was an ordained minister in the Church in Scotland for over 50 years, spending many of those years as senior pastor in the historic St. George’s-Tron Church in the center of Glasgow. He was a regular speaker at the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology, the Keswick Convention, and was the Bible expositor at the Urbana Conference of Intervarsity Fellowship.

John 11:45-54

The last section of chapter 11 focuses on the Jews’ reaction to the miraculous raising of Lazarus. Reverend Alexander explores this miracle as a sign of Christ’s triumph over death and a symbol of the resurrection of the believer. As with the crowd, consider how you will respond—in faith or disbelief—on Hear the Word of God.
